What we provide

Care Close to Home publishes information and rankings about home care, home health and hospice agencies. We don't provide care, medical advice or referrals, and we don't employ or supervise any agency or caregiver. Always check an agency's license, insurance and fit for your situation yourself.

Rankings and data

Rankings are based on public CMS Care Compare data and our published method, described on How We Rank. Data can be out of date or incomplete. We make no guarantee about any agency's services or results.

Paid placements

Agencies may pay for clearly labeled placements. Payment never changes an agency's score or rank. See our Advertising & Editorial Disclosure.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no scraping at scale, no false submissions, no attempts to disrupt the service, and no use of our content or badges in a misleading way. Agencies may display a Top Pick badge only for the city, type of care and year they earned it.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, Care Close to Home isn't liable for decisions you make based on the site or for the services of any agency listed on it.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
